ST. MORITZ – On February 20th, Armand de Brignac hosted an intimate champagne lunch at the iconic Kulm Country Club. 20 VIP guests from the worlds of Art and Business enjoyed a three course pairing menu during the intimate lunch, created by Head chef Daniel Müller. The menu concept was “back to the roots”, using locally-sourced, fresh ingredients. Chef Müller’s dishes were expertly paired with Champagne Armand de Brignac Gold Brut, Rosé and Blanc de Blancs – all served from magnum formats, with select assemblages from the cellar.
The Kulm Country Club in St. Moritz is especially valued for its historical role in the Olympic Winter Games, held there in 1928 and 1948. In 2017 the renovation and expansion work on the 110-year-old building was expertly completed under the direction of the English architect Lord Norman Foster and Swiss Architect Andy Küchel who managed the remodeling and renovation work. Mr. Küchel also attended the lunch as a special guest of Armand de Brignac.
